Prof. Dr. jur. Hendrik Schneider
Born in Wiesbaden, Prof. Dr. jur. Hendrik Schneider leads his law firm for business and medical criminal law located on historical Taunusstraße in the heart of Hesse’s state capital Wiesbaden.
Chair of Criminal Law and Procedure et al.
Following his habilitation and academic teaching activities at the Johannes Gutenberg- Universität [University of Mainz] he has been holding the Chair of Criminal Law and Procedure et al. at the Faculty of Law at Universität Leipzig since 2006.
After 14 years of academic teaching he requested to be released of his academic duties to dedicate himself exclusively to legal practice and his clients.
Defense mandates
Hendrik Schneider advises and represents you in matters of general business and medical criminal law. He counsels companies regarding subjects of compliance, criminal investigations and Internal Investigations.
His main focus is on medical criminal law. He provides advice for hospital facilities, other health care institutions and their directors, employees and doctors.
Criminal Defense
We defend individuals and companies in the field of business and medical criminal law from initiation of preliminary proceedings throughout revision and if required in enforcement and execution.
Compliance
We develop and audit compliance management systems, offer compliance trainings and review contracts, cooperations and all concerns and matters in terms of compliance.
Internal Investigations
We conduct Internal Investigations as soon as suspicions arise and during the ongoing preliminary proceedings. The results are carefully and extensively reviewed regarding criminal and other aspects.
Honorary chairman and memberships
Since 2016 Hendrik Schneider is honorary chairman at the arbitration board of AKG e.V. (Arzneimittel und Kooperation im Gesundheitswesen [pharmaceuticals and cooperation in the health care sector]) and chairman of the expert committee ‘Healthcare Compliance’. The association was founded in 2007 and marks the organization with the largest member group in voluntary self-regulation of the pharmaceutical industry as of today.
In 2013 Hendrik Schneider has been awarded the Dr. Sigurd Pütter Verdienstmedaille for his outstanding contributions to compliance in health care.
He is a member of the AKG Certification Commission since 2024.
